Prateek Mago

If there was ever a human epitome of the proverb "work hard, party harder", it's this boisterous boy from Chandigarh who unabashedly strolled into the lush green campus of Nirma University on a scorching summer day of 2014, and the rest, as they say, was history. Grabbing the MUNing circuit by its scruff and mesmerising fellow Delegates and Executive Board members alike with his outstanding research, impeccable speeches, and flawless arguments, he came to be revered by MUNners across the nation. But what truly sets him apart is that even with over sixty conferences under his belt, he remains perhaps one from the very rare breed who becomes a delegate the first chance he gets despite receiving offers to be a member of the Executive Board in almost all major Model UN conferences in the country. However, his quench for knowledge and achievements did not stop within the peripheries of Model United Nations. He proved himself to be a phenomenal mooter with stellar performances at various prestigious national and international moots, including the revered Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition to his credit. He doesn't sport the intellectual beard and very rarely would you see him in anything but an oversized tee, jeans and a ragged pair of Crocs. But his penchant for international law and global affairs knows no limits. And just when you begin to think that you'd be intimidated by the sheer volume of this man's greatness, he'll stroll up to you in the trademark Mago strides and floor you with his remarkable humility. A person who perhaps illustrates everything good at the Institute of Law, Nirma University, here's presenting Mr. Prateek Mago. P.S. Don't be fooled. Just like nailing everything he does in his life, he would also soon charm his way to becoming the first name on your guest list for a party.
